Hai Duong plans to allocate 340 billion VND of public investment capital (provincial budget) to support localities in building commune-level police headquarters and classrooms that are lacking in educational institutions.
On the morning of August 1, comrade Luu Van Ban, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee chaired the August meeting of the Provincial People's Committee (first time) to review and discuss the contents and submissions reported by a number of local departments and branches.
At the meeting, the Department of Planning and Investment proposed additional funding for the district level to invest in building commune-level police headquarters and classrooms in educational institutions with a total investment of 542.6 billion VND. Of which, the expected detailed allocation this time is 340 billion VND, the remaining amount will be allocated when the project is qualified. 200 billion VND will be allocated to invest in 34 commune-level police headquarters in Hai Duong City, Chi Linh, Kinh Mon Town and Nam Sach, Tu Ky, Ninh Giang, Thanh Mien Districts. The remaining 140 billion VND will be invested in building 26 classrooms in Chi Linh City, Kinh Mon Town and Nam Sach, Kim Thanh, Tu Ky, Thanh Mien, Ninh Giang, Binh Giang Districts.
Concluding this content, Mr. Luu Van Ban, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, basically agreed with the proposal of the Department of Planning and Investment. At the same time, he requested agencies, units and localities to continue reviewing and proposing investment in urgent projects to serve socio-economic development, and report to the Provincial People's Committee to have a detailed plan for allocating public investment capital.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted the need to develop a list of public investment projects by investment group, prioritizing the construction of police headquarters, classroom shortages, new rural construction, concentrated aquaculture areas, etc. All levels and sectors must be resolute and urgent in implementing investment preparation steps so that projects can soon be allocated detailed public investment capital.
