Hai Duong has an author winning the B prize at the 28th Red River Delta Fine Arts Exhibition.

On August 31, at Hung Yen Museum, Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Vietnam Fine Arts Association to organize the 28th Red River Delta Fine Arts Exhibition in 2023.

At the exhibition, Hai Duong has 18 works by 17 authors who are members of the Hai Duong Provincial Literature and Arts Association on display.

The acrylic work "New Day News" by artist Nguyen Tien Quan was awarded the B prize by the Organizing Committee (there was no A prize).

The oil painting "Memories of Exam Season" by artist Phung Van Tue was introduced to compete in the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations award.

This exhibition introduces and displays 198 works of art by 186 authors. Of these, 103 works are by 91 authors who are members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and 95 works are by 95 authors who are members and collaborators of the Association/Union of Literature and Arts Associations of 9 provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region including: Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Ha Nam, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Quang Ninh and Hai Phong. The Organizing Committee awarded 2 B prizes, 3 C prizes, and 6 consolation prizes.

The works were created by the authors from July 2022 to June 2023 with diverse materials and styles. The works displayed at the exhibition vividly reflect the reality of life and the beauty of traditional culture of ethnic minorities. Especially the achievements in the innovation process of the region and the country.

The exhibition is open until September 10.
