Early morning of March 5, many areas in Hai Duong province were covered in thick fog, visibility was greatly limited, and transportation was difficult.
Dense fog forces vehicles on Thanh Nien Street (Hai Duong City) to move very slowly.
Hai Duong Province's Hydrometeorological Station forecasts that on March 5, due to the influence of a weakened continental cold high pressure moving to the east combined with a low pressure trough with an axis of 25-28 degrees north latitude, Hai Duong's weather will be cloudy, with drizzle and fog at night and morning, and sunny in the afternoon, with temperatures of 17-29 degrees Celsius.
Fog has negative effects on health such as respiratory diseases, weather-sensitive diseases such as cough, flu, blood pressure, etc. Particularly for rice plants and some crops, fog is a condition for rice blast and downy mildew to develop and cause harm.
The fog phenomenon may last until the end of March 6.
