On the evening of June 30, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the 10th grade entrance exam scores of more than 104,000 candidates.
Parents and candidates can look up their 10th grade exam scores at https://tracuu.hanoi.edu.vn or the admissions portal of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
If you want to review your exam results, within 10 days from the date of announcement of your exam results, you must submit an application to the place where you registered to take the exam. Within 15 days from the deadline for receiving applications, the Examination Council will announce and notify you of the results.
This year's Math, Literature, and Foreign Language exams for Hanoi's 10th grade entrance exam are considered familiar by many teachers, maintaining a stable structure and not being more difficult than last year, so the average score for each subject is around 7-7.5. The benchmark score is predicted to increase slightly, from 1 to 1.25 points.
Tomorrow, the Department will meet with principals of more than 110 high schools to discuss the 10th grade benchmark, a week ahead of schedule. If admitted, candidates will enroll online. From July 18, schools that do not meet their quota will begin to consider additional admissions.
Candidates and parents look at their registration numbers and exam rooms for grade 10 at the exam site of Tran Duy Hung Secondary School, June 9.
Three weeks ago, more than 104,000 students in Hanoi took three exams in Literature, Foreign Language and Mathematics to be admitted to public 10th grade (mass). With a quota of about 72,000, the admission rate was 66.5%.
The admission score is the sum of the Literature and Math scores multiplied by a factor of two, along with the Foreign Language score and priority points (if any). Students applying to specialized schools must take additional specialized subject tests, so the admission score for specialized 10th grade is the sum of the scores of the three Math, Literature, Foreign Language exams and the specialized subject score multiplied by a factor of two.
