University announces new high-speed rail training program
The University of Transport held a ceremony to celebrate its 65th anniversary of undergraduate training and announced two new strategic training program groups.
Proposal to exempt tuition fees for railway students
The University of Transport has proposed a 100% reduction in tuition fees for university students majoring in high-speed railways and urban railways if they have excellent academic performance, and a 50% reduction in tuition fees if they have good academic performance.

Handling existing problems and shortcomings in road traffic organization
The Ministry of Transport has just issued a document to the Ministry of Public Security, People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities and the Vietnam Road Administration to review and handle existing problems and shortcomings in road traffic organization.
The transport sector will continue to issue and renew driving licenses.
The Vietnam Road Administration requires transport departments to continue receiving and processing applications for changing and reissuing driver's licenses while waiting for transfer to the Ministry of Public Security to avoid disruption and impact on people.
Ensure smooth and convenient handover of driving test and license issuance tasks
Currently, Hai Duong traffic police force is in the process of receiving state management tasks on testing and granting driving licenses from the Department of Transport.

Representatives of the Vietnam Road Administration recommend that people should not rush to change their driving licenses; only those whose licenses are about to expire need to change them.
Promoting decentralization and delegation of authority in implementing railway and urban road projects
According to Minister of Transport Tran Hong Minh, promoting decentralization and delegation of authority will shorten the approval process for urban railway projects according to the principle that localities decide, do and take responsibility.
