Solving problems in site clearance for Dai An Industrial Park expansion

Comrade Luu Van Ban, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Also attending the meeting were leaders of relevant departments, branches and the People's Committee of Cam Giang district; leaders of Cam Dong and Cam Doai communes (Cam Giang), and representatives of relevant units.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Luu Van Ban, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the Dai An Industrial Park Phase 2 expansion project plays an important role in attracting investment and promoting the province's socio-economic development. Therefore, the obstacles in site clearance must be resolved soon so that the investor can speed up the infrastructure construction progress and welcome secondary investors.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Luu Van Ban, requested the People's Committee of Cam Giang district to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to resolutely clear the land and hand over the land to the investor in March. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the land clearance work must ensure the principles of publicity, transparency and fairness. It is necessary to strengthen propaganda and mobilization so that people can grasp information about the role and benefits of the project, the process of implementing compensation and land clearance steps. In the process of developing a compensation plan, it is necessary to ensure the highest interests of the people according to the provisions of law. For cases where after being propagated, mobilized and persuaded but still do not comply, a plan for compulsory land recovery must be developed.

Regarding the proposal and recommendation of Cam Giang residents when comparing the regime and policies with some projects in Tu Minh ward (Hai Duong city), Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with relevant units and localities to have a satisfactory answer for the people.

According to the People's Committee of Cam Giang District, the Dai An Industrial Park Expansion Project Phase 2 is still stuck with the clearance of 76 hectares in Cam Doai and Cam Dong communes. Within the clearance area, there are 201 households with assets on the land. Currently, 35 households have received compensation and support.
