On November 21, the price of each tael of SJC gold in Hai Duong exceeded 71 million VND.
According to Hai Duong Newspaper reporters' investigation at some gold and silver trading establishments in Hai Duong City such as Doji, Bao Tin Manh Hai, PNJ, the transaction price of each tael of SJC gold at 4:00 p.m. on November 21 was bought at 70.5 million VND/tael, sold at 71.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 100,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to early morning of the same day, an increase of 400,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the closing price of the last trading session on November 20.
However, the number of customers trading SJC gold at each store remains very low. Store managers say people are waiting for the gold price to increase at the end of the year to decide on trading.
The central exchange rate on November 21 was announced by the State Bank at 23,915 VND/USD, down 39 VND/USD compared to November 20. The USD price at commercial banks on the morning of November 21 was commonly listed at 23,950 VND/USD for buying and 24,320 VND/USD for selling.
