The Investigation Police Agency of Nam Dan District Police (Nghe An) has just prosecuted a male student who forced his friends to eat dirt, mud, smoke cigarettes... for the crime of humiliating others.
On October 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Nam Dan District Police (Nghe An) initiated a case and prosecuted PTN (born in 2008, residing in Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District, 11th grade student at Mai Hac De High School) to investigate the crime of humiliating others.
Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on October 19, in a rice field in Hamlet 7, Nam Anh Commune, PTN and NVT (born in 2010, both residing in Nam Anh Commune) had humiliated VHĐ. (born in 2010, residing in Nam Xuan Commune, Nam Dan District, a 9th grade student at Anh Xuan Secondary School) by forcing D. to smoke without blowing out the smoke, eat dirt, eat mud... then filmed the video and distributed it online.
The video shows that this male student was threatened and forced to eat the dirt with his own hands. Student D. was asked to put the dirt in his mouth with his own hands. The subjects in the video said things like: “Is it delicious? “Swallow”… keep eating, eat until you are full, if you spit it out you will be murdered.”
After finishing the first handful of dirt, the boy was forced to eat the second handful. To make sure he swallowed all the dirt, the group also asked him to stick out his tongue to check. After that, the victim was given water to drink.
Also in the video, one person's voice says "let him go", but another person says "don't let him go" and continues to threaten and force D. to eat dirt like rice.
On the morning of October 22, the victim was taken to the hospital by relatives for a check-up. Initially, the doctor concluded that the child's health was normal and he had returned to school.
The victim is an orphan, with a difficult family background. He is quiet, honest, and develops more slowly than his friends.
Upon receiving the report, under the direction of the Nam Dan District Police, the District Police's General Investigation Team coordinated with Nam Anh Commune Police to urgently verify and investigate the case.
Based on the collected documents, the police have sufficient grounds to determine that PTN's behavior constitutes the crime of humiliating others as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 155 of the Penal Code.
As N. is under 18 years old, the investigation agency applied preventive measures and prohibited him from leaving his place of residence.
The case is currently under investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
