Nguyen Tan Dung is the valedictorian of grade 10 at Ninh Giang High School.

Nguyen Tan Dung is a student at Tan Huong Secondary School (Ninh Giang), with a total score of 45.6 points, including 9.75 points in math, 8.25 points in literature, and 9.6 points in English.

Surpassing more than 600 candidates taking the direct exam at Ninh Giang High School, Nguyen Tan Dung has excellently become the temporary valedictorian of Ninh Giang High School in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year. It is known that Nguyen Tan Dung is an excellent student, studying all subjects equally, his forte is math.

Dung won third prize in the provincial excellent student contest, second prize in the district math contest in grade 9; second prize in grade 7 and third prize in the district math contest in grade 8. In addition, in grade 8, he also won third prize in the provincial chess contest, second prize in the district chess contest; silver medal in the provincial VioEdu Math Competition. In grade 7, he won third prize in the national Information Security Student Contest and the district IOE Internet English Olympiad.

In the 2024-2025 school year 10th grade entrance exam, Ninh Giang High School had 616 candidates taking the exam, with a total enrollment target of 504 students.

According to the 10th grade exam score sheet of candidates at the Ninh Giang High School exam council, the exam scores were higher than last year. This is the last year students will take the exam according to the old 2006 general education program. Excluding the number of candidates eligible for direct admission, based on the enrollment quota, the number of candidates with the first choice from Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, the expected standard score of Ninh Giang High School this year could be around 36 points.

The standard score for the first wish to enter the school in the 2023-2024 and 2022-2023 school years is 34.7 and 33.5 points respectively. In the 2022-2023 school year, Ninh Giang High School has a student who is the valedictorian of Hanoi University of Science and Technology with 29.65 points.

The expected benchmark scores for the first wish of the 10th grade exam for the 2024-2025 school year will be announced by the Hai Duong Department of Education and Training on June 18.
