Covering an area of 2,800 square meters and nearly 155 meters long, the apricot blossom road shaped like a map of Vietnam in Kien Giang is decorated with miniature landscapes imbued with the flavor of ancient Tet.
Leaders of Kien Giang province cut the ribbon to inaugurate the mai road shaped like a map of Vietnam with the theme "Quintessence of Vietnamese Tet", serving tourists and locals to come and enjoy spring and take photos.
On the morning of February 4, in the Northwest urban area (Rach Gia City, Kien Giang), many tourists and locals came to take photos on the road of apricot and peach blossoms shaped like the map of Vietnam.
With the theme "Quintessence of Vietnamese Tet", the apricot street above is designed very eye-catching and elaborate with tens of thousands of apricot and peach branches and miniature scenes recreating the atmosphere of Tet in three regions of Vietnam, including: the calligrapher area, the thatched house area selling traditional cakes, straw rolls, conical hats, lanterns interspersed with many unique culinary spaces imbued with the cultural life of Vietnamese people.
Ms. Nguyen Xuan Kieu - a resident of Rach Gia City - said that this apricot blossom road for the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024 is very unique and beautiful. The miniatures and decorative areas clearly show the national identity and speak of the unity of the army and people from North to South.
"I find the apricot blossom road shaped like a map of Vietnam very prosperous, representing reunion. Especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnamese people returned to a new life and welcomed a new spring of joy and warmth," Ms. Kieu happily said.

The apricot blossom road above has a scale of 2,800m2, 155m long (investment cost of about 3 billion VND). This will be a check-in and spring travel location that attracts people during Tet.
"Not only do we want to recreate the atmosphere of Vietnamese Tet, we also want to introduce the beauty of Vietnamese national identity and affirm the sacred territorial sovereignty of the Fatherland to tourists," Ms. Phuong emphasized.
