Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung visited and congratulated dignitaries and parishioners on the occasion of Christmas.

On the morning of December 22, on the occasion of Christmas 2023, comrade Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to priest Nguyen Van Vang, Dean, Parish Priest of Hai Duong in Tran Hung Dao ward (Hai Duong city) and priest Bui Xuan Thang, parish priest of My Dong in Hien Thanh ward (Kinh Mon).

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial People's Committee Office, Hai Duong City and Kinh Mon Town.

At the places visited, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung kindly sent greetings and wished the priests, dignitaries, and parishioners a peaceful and happy Christmas.

Comrade Trieu The Hung informed about the outstanding results of socio-economic development, security and defense of Hai Duong province. In 2023, the province achieved and exceeded 13/15 socio-economic development targets. The scale of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) ranked 11th in the country. Investment attraction increased dramatically in terms of the number of projects and registered capital. The province ensured regular expenditure sources, prioritized the implementation of policies and social security. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of priests, dignitaries and parishioners to the overall development of the province. He affirmed that the Party Committees and authorities at all levels in the province always pay attention to and create favorable conditions for religions to operate and develop; at the same time, he hoped that the dignitaries and followers would continue to promote the spirit of living a "good life, good religion", unite and stick with the Party Committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at all levels, participate in building Hai Duong province to develop more and more, bringing a more prosperous and better life to the people.
