Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang visited and presented gifts to some units on duty during Tet.

Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Luu Van Ban, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also attended.

Provincial leaders visited and presented gifts at the Provincial Military Command and Provincial General Hospital.

Leaders of agencies and units reported to Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang on the results of activities in 2023, goals, directions, tasks in 2024 and plans for on-duty during the 2024 Lunar New Year.

Recognizing and appreciating the efforts and initiative of the units, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang reminded the Provincial Military Command to arrange the number of troops on duty and on standby with a high sense of responsibility, not allowing passivity, suddenness, and surprise to occur. Mobilize maximum forces and means, strictly maintain the regime of on-duty, combat readiness, and coordinate to ensure political security and social order and safety in the province.

Along with being proactive and ready to perform well the tasks during Tet, the Provincial Military Command needs to lead, direct and organize well the preparation work for military transfer; visit and encourage young people preparing to join the army and soldiers who have completed their service and returned to their localities. Continue to pay attention to taking care of officers and soldiers, and do well the military logistics work. Focus on doing well the coordination work, preparing to organize fireworks displays according to regulations, absolutely safe to serve the people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet.

Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang requested the leaders of the Provincial General Hospital to direct and organize the implementation of emergency plans and medical treatment for the people; arrange adequate human resources, medicines, and technical equipment to promptly respond to situations and incidents that occur. The hospital also pays more attention to patients who have to be treated during Tet, and supports and encourages seriously ill patients and those in difficult circumstances.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang said that in 2024, the province will consider issuing a support mechanism for doctors and medical staff in the province and deploy the second phase of investment in the Provincial General Hospital. He hopes that the leadership, cadres, doctors and medical staff in the hospital will continue to unite and unify to develop the Provincial General Hospital, meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of the people.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang gave gifts of encouragement and wished the cadres, soldiers, medical staff, doctors and medical staff in the province good health, happiness, success and better completion of assigned tasks in the new year.
