On the morning of August 31, the U23 Vietnam team under the leadership of coach Philippe Troussier visited and offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings at the Hung Temple historical site.
This activity has become a traditional beauty every time the national teams have the opportunity to return to their homeland to practice and compete in international tournaments. This year, in the 2024 U23 Asian qualifiers, held at Viet Tri Stadium from September 6 to September 12.
At Dien Kinh Thien on Nghia Linh peak, the coaching staff and players of U23 Vietnam respectfully offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings who founded the country. At the same time, they reported on the achievements the team had made in the past year.
Before the spirit of the Hung Kings, the coaching staff and players of the Vietnam U23 team vow to unite, actively practice, and compete with all their might for the country's flag and colors to contribute exciting matches with high professional quality, determined to complete the goal of qualifying for the 2024 AFC U23 Championship Finals.
On behalf of the coaching staff of the Vietnam U23 team, Head Coach Philippe Troussier thanked the leaders of Phu Tho province and the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province for always giving a warm welcome and creating favorable conditions for the team when they return to their homeland to compete.
