The Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and the delegation of cadres planning for Central Party Committee members exchanged and shared many experiences in Party building and socio-economic development.
On the afternoon of November 21, at the Eastern Cultural Center (Hai Duong City), the delegation of cadres and students of the training course to update knowledge and skills for cadres planning to be members of the 14th Party Central Committee worked with the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.
The delegation was led by comrade Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

At the meeting, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang gave an overview of Hai Duong province; the province's outstanding results in Party building and political system, socio-economic development in 2024 and from the beginning of the term until now.
The Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee said that immediately after the 17th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee urgently issued an Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress. At the same time, fully and synchronously implementing the tasks set by the Central Committee and according to the goals, tasks and solutions determined by the Provincial Party Committee. Hai Duong has achieved many positive results.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the comrades in the Working Group will exchange with Hai Duong province about experiences in socio-economic development, Party building and political system building. There will be participation and suggestions to help Hai Duong set out directions, goals, tasks and solutions to successfully complete the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025 and contribute to perfecting the solutions for developing socio-economic development tasks that have been oriented in the future.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, congratulated the results and achievements that Hai Duong province has achieved in recent times.
He said that this working trip is part of the training program to improve the capacity of cadres who are being planned to become members of the 14th Party Central Committee, aiming to supplement practical knowledge and improve leadership and direction skills.
The delegation hoped that Hai Duong would share its experiences and good practices in carrying out the tasks of socio-economic development, Party building and investment attraction. At the same time, it was suggested that after the working session, the comrades in the delegation would pay attention to coordinating and supporting Hai Duong province in the process of construction and development.
The delegates highly appreciated the socio-economic development results of Hai Duong province in recent times. On behalf of the leaders of Hai Duong province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang thanked the comrades in the working group for their participation, comments, and experience sharing. At the same time, he hoped that the comrades in the group would regularly exchange and share experiences, coordinate in performing tasks, connect and promote development cooperation.
The Provincial Party Secretary shared some lessons learned in leading and directing the implementation of the province's tasks. In particular, Hai Duong focuses on promoting the spirit of solidarity in the Standing Committee and Party Committees at all levels. On this occasion, the Working Group called for and mobilized support for the Fund for the Poor of Chi Linh City with 5 billion VND.
In 2024, Hai Duong is expected to achieve and exceed 13/15 main targets.
At the meeting, comrade Luu Van Ban, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, briefly informed about the socio-economic development and investment attraction of Hai Duong.
Hai Duong is focusing on building documents to submit to the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
It is expected that in the 2021-2025 period, the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) will increase by an average of 9.07%, exceeding the set target. It is estimated that by the end of 2025, the economic scale will increase by 1.8 times compared to 2020, continuing to maintain its 11th position in the country and 5th in the Red River Delta.
Average real income per capita reached 85.2 million VND, 1.6 times higher than in 2020. The economic structure continued to shift positively towards industrialization and modernization, increasing the proportion of industry - construction and services.
In the province, there are 1,777 domestic investment projects with a total investment capital of 118,851 billion VND, and 592 foreign investment projects from 27 countries and territories, with a total registered capital of more than 10.7 billion USD.
Hai Duong identified 2024 as the year of acceleration for breakthrough development, creating momentum for the successful completion of the goals of the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025.
The province implements the 2024 socio-economic development plan with 15 main targets, of which 13 targets are expected to be achieved and exceeded. The total product in the province is estimated to increase by more than 10%, exceeding the target of over 9%; the state budget revenue exceeds the annual estimate by 46.7%.
Social security, material and spiritual life of the people have been constantly improved in recent years. National defense, security, social order and safety in the locality are firmly ensured.
