General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong deeply feels the demands of reality and has devoted much effort to comprehensively researching this issue.

The book systematizes the basic contents and great values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, as well as the Party's scientific and creative guidelines and viewpoints on culture; at the same time, it deepens, enriches, and makes more vivid the cultural foundations. These are very important theses that the General Secretary has studied deeply and explained convincingly in his articles, speeches, and interviews... for decades; they are the crystallization of the intelligence, enthusiasm, and expectations of a person who is devoted to the Party and the people and is trusted and admired by the entire Party and the entire people.

At the conference, Master Pham Thi Thinh, Deputy Director, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth, thoroughly explained the content of the book "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity" consisting of 928 pages, selecting 92 articles, speeches, talks, notes, interviews, letters... by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on building and developing Vietnamese culture, in which the earliest article was in 1968.

The content of the speeches and articles shows the General Secretary's deep concern for building, preserving and developing Vietnamese culture with traditional and modern elements, identity and integration; creating endogenous resources, mobilizing the strength of Vietnamese culture and people in the cause of building and developing a prosperous and happy country.

The book also selects more than 90 precious documentary photos, recording images of the General Secretary in cultural activities; visits and work with localities, agencies and units in the cultural sector; meetings with artists and intellectuals across the country.
