Branches of Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC in Da Nang have been closed for many days, making people impatient.
The branch at 185 Nguyen Van Linh (Hai Chau district) has been closed for many days now. Some people who wanted to buy and sell gold had to leave. Ms. BA (Thanh Khe district) said she wanted to sell some gold rings but she has not seen the SJC store open for the past week.
“I only saw the branch put up a sign saying it was temporarily closed, and I don’t know when it will be closed. I called the store’s phone number to ask why it was closed and when it would reopen, but I couldn’t get through. I was really confused because the store was closed at a time when gold prices were so high,” Ms. BA said.
Meanwhile, the 193 Hung Vuong branch was also quiet, with a sign saying “Temporarily suspended” posted in front. Many people said they could not get through to the branch so they went to the branch’s Facebook page to ask but still got no response. “I also went to SJC’s official website and called both hotline numbers but they were cold, no one picked up the phone,” said Mr. NM (Cam Le district) indignantly.
According to research, on SJC's official Facebook page, the unit announced the operating hours and trading items of some centers, but there was no information about the closure of branches in Da Nang.
