With the motto "Taking workers as the root", since its establishment, Makalot Vietnam Garment Company Limited has established a trade union to protect the rights of workers and laborers.

The company has invested billions of dong in installing central air conditioning systems in factories, ensuring the best working environment for workers, especially on hot summer days. In addition, every year the company organizes many useful activities for employees on the occasion of holidays and Tet. Every December, the company also organizes a Solidarity Day for workers with special performances and lucky draw games with prizes worth billions of dong, and organizes tours for workers. The company also reduces working hours for pregnant female workers and those with children under 12 months old. Female workers with children only work 6 hours/day and are paid 8 hours. To create conditions for employees to have more time to rest and take care of their children, the company applies a reasonable working time regime, only allowing a maximum of 2 hours of overtime per day and not organizing work on Sundays and holidays so that employees have time to restore their labor and take care of their families. Due to the recent increase in gasoline prices, the company has increased the gasoline allowance from 250,000/month/person to 330,000/month/person.

To help workers feel secure in their work, every year the company and the union give many savings books to people in difficult circumstances, creating a solid and reliable spiritual support for workers. Workers who live far away are provided with shuttle buses by the company. The working environment is clean, and TVs are installed on production lines so that during breaks workers can watch the news or listen to company announcements and new policies related to workers.

The company operates mainly in the field of garment manufacturing and processing, exporting to the US, Europe, and Japan.
