Hai Duong City Police arrested 2 subjects for drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons

One of the two subjects was also illegally possessing a hunting gun.

At around 10:00 a.m. on March 9, at room number 305, Duc Hue motel, Vu La area, Nam Dong ward (Hai Duong city), the working group of Hai Duong city police caught Le Van Thuong, born in 1989, residing in Hoang Xa 3, Quyet Thang commune (Hai Duong city) hiding a package of crystal meth containing 3.743g of Methamphetamine, for the purpose of selling. Through investigation, the subject confessed that he had bought the above drugs from Pham Van Tam, born in 1991, residing in Mieu Nha village, Quang Thanh commune (Kinh Mon) for 3 million VND.

Authorities seized 2 guns

During an emergency search of Tam's residence, the Hai Duong City Police Investigation Agency seized 97 tablets and 3 plastic bags containing white crystals. Tam confessed that they were all synthetic drugs that he had bought for more than 17 million VND and then brought home to hide and sell for profit. During the search, the authorities seized 2 more guns (hunting guns) with the barrels not yet sawed off and 4 bullets along with many tools such as a small scale and plastic bags used to divide drugs.

Hai Duong City Police Investigation Agency is continuing to expand the case.
