The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim recreates the majestic world of Middle-earth in the legendary Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film series in an animated format for audiences aged 13 and up.

Lord Freca of the Dunlendings wanted his son Wulf to marry Princess Hera, daughter of King Helm. After being rejected, Freca was accidentally killed by King Helm's fist. Wulf sent his troops to avenge his father, forcing King Helm and the people of Rohan to defend the ancient city of Hornburg.

Princess Hera becomes the last hope to lead the battle against the mighty enemy. At first, King Helm himself is skeptical about the princess's ability to turn the tide. But then he sees her potential and puts his faith in his daughter.

The majestic Middle-earth, the eye-catching battles, the Western mythological world told in anime style create a unique appeal for The War of the Rohirrim. Princess Hera is loved for her image as a brave female hero defending her country.

Considered a prequel set 183 years before the events of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, this animated film was directed by famous Japanese director Kenji Kamiyama and executive produced by director Peter Jackson. Veteran star Brian Cox and actress Gaia Wise voice the two main characters, King Helm Hammerhand and Princess Hera, respectively.

The film opens on December 13 at theaters in Hai Duong City.
