New scam trick takes advantage of issuing and exchanging driving licenses, fines

According to the Ministry of Public Security, recently there have been cases of people taking advantage of information on handling fines and issuing and changing driver's licenses to commit fraud and appropriate property.

Therefore, the Ministry of Public Security recommends that people stay vigilant, regularly follow instructions on official information channels to follow them correctly; absolutely do not provide personal information to anyone without confirming that they are the person authorized to issue fines, issue or change driver's licenses.

In particular, people should not follow the requests of strangers calling via phone numbers claiming to be police officers, to guide them in installing applications, activating accounts, application software, strange links, or requesting money transfers.

Do not access strange websites, do not install strange software from strange links, from unofficial application stores, of unknown origin, or software that requires high access rights to user information.

When receiving a notice of violation, people can go to the following locations to resolve the administrative violation: the place where the violation was discovered or the Traffic Police Department where the people reside or other locations to receive and handle the fine announced by the Traffic Police Department.
