Suzuki has launched the new generation of the low-cost Dzire model with a price of about 8,000 USD. Notably, this is the first Suzuki model to achieve the 5-star safety standard of Global NCAP.
Suzuki has recently officially introduced the fourth generation of the A-segment sedan Drize in India. Unlike its predecessors, the new 2025 Suzuki Dzire has nothing in common with the Swift hatchback that it shares with this model. Instead, the Dzire has applied its own style to this model.
Compared to the previous generation, the Suzuki Drize 2025 has unchanged dimensions with a length of 3,995mm, width of 1,735mm, height of 1,525mm and a wheelbase of 2,450mm. At the front, angular LED headlights and a larger grille give the car a more serious look, making it different from the Swift hatchback model.
Inside, the budget car gets a dashboard that looks very similar to the Swift, although there are some changes to the trim, including faux wood accents. The analog gauge cluster is paired with a 9-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity. Higher-end versions of the new car will get automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and a sunroof.
In terms of safety, this is the first Suzuki model to achieve a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP tests. All versions are equipped with 6 airbags, electronic stability control and pedestrian protection as standard.
In terms of power, the 2025 Suzuki Dzire is equipped with a 1.2L 3-cylinder engine with a capacity of 80 horsepower when running on gasoline or 69 horsepower when using CNG natural gas. This engine is combined with a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.
In India, the 2025 Suzuki Dzire is priced from Rs 679,000-1,014,000 (VND 203 - 304 million). This model is considered a competitor in the A-class sedan segment such as Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura/Grand i10 sedan and Tata Tigor.
