Hai Hung Vehicle Inspection Department (Thanh Binh Ward, Hai Duong City) has a total of 11 inspectors. Due to violations in the process of inspecting inland waterway vehicles, some inspectors at the center have been detained, and some inspectors have been prosecuted.

Currently, Hai Hung Registration Department only has 4 inland waterway vehicle inspectors (3 hull inspectors and 1 engine inspector). Of these, only 1 is a grade 1 inspector. The special feature of inland waterway vehicle inspection is that large vessels require a grade 1 inspector.

The leader of the Hai Hung Inspection Department said that many inspectors were detained while performing the inspection procedures, and many tasks were unfinished. The total number of watercraft undergoing inspection is 191, including 24 new vessels, 12 converted vessels, and 155 vessels undergoing periodic inspection.

Inspection also depends a lot on the preparation of the ship owner.

On April 18, the new department was supplemented with a first-class inspector from Quang Ninh province, but still could not handle the current large workload.
