Check-in at 9 hundred-year-old sưa trees that have just been recognized as Vietnamese heritage

Many people and tourists flocked to Huong Tra village to check-in the complex of 9 hundred-year-old rosewood trees that have just been recognized as Vietnamese heritage.

Huong Tra village is located in Hoa Huong ward, Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province. In this village, there exists a population of Dalbergia tonkinensis trees (sudassava trees) with an average age of over 100 years, including 12 ancient trees over 200 years old.

On April 5, Tam Ky City People's Committee held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition as a Vietnamese heritage tree for a group of 9 An rosewood trees.

Many young people took advantage of the weekend to check in. Everyone dressed up beautifully to take impressive photos.

“The heritage trees are very beautiful, the air here is cool and fresh. Unfortunately, the trees have not bloomed yet. I heard that the Su flowers are very beautiful, so I will come back to see them when I have the chance,” said Thuy Chi, a tourist from Hanoi.

Many foreign tourists also come here to see with their own eyes the Heritage tree complex of Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Nam, Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee, said that the recognition of the Huong Tra village's Sua population as a Vietnam Heritage Tree is an important milestone in the conservation, preservation and development of the value of the ancient Sua population. At the same time, it creates more destinations for the local eco-tourism development strategy.
