The Politburo decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh and Mr. Chau Van Lam for violating Party regulations and State laws while performing assigned duties and tasks in preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

Removing the duties of National Assembly deputies of Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh and Chau Van Lam

On the afternoon of August 13, the National Assembly Standing Committee passed a resolution to dismiss Dang Quoc Khanh and Chau Van Lam from their duties as National Assembly deputies.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, 1 Minister and 2 Provincial Party Secretaries were dismissed from their positions as members of the Party Central Committee for violating Party regulations.

During the afternoon session on August 3, the Party Central Committee considered the resignation applications of Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai and a number of leaders of central and local agencies.
