After that, the ward police summoned Long and Van to work, the two subjects admitted to stealing the dog. The dog that Long and Van stole was worth 3 million VND.
Long and Van have bad personal records and come from poor families. Long has been sentenced four times for extortion and theft. Van has been to prison twice for theft.
Hai Duong City People's Court sentenced Do Thi Van to 12 months in prison and Nguyen Phi Long to 9 months in prison for theft of property.
