On the afternoon of July 4, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Cam Giang district coordinated with Hai Duong General Hospital and UMC Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd. to organize a voluntary blood donation festival.
This is the 4th time UMC Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd. has organized a voluntary blood donation festival, attracting a large number of company officers and employees to participate, resulting in 84 units of blood collected.
Since the beginning of the year, the Cam Giang District Red Cross has coordinated to organize two voluntary blood donation campaigns, collecting 452 units of blood. The district plans to organize two more voluntary blood donation campaigns in the education sector and businesses in August and October this year.
In 2023, Cam Giang district strives to collect 1,200 units of blood, equivalent to last year, exceeding 450 units compared to the target assigned by the province.
