Bluezone is a close contact detection application jointly developed by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Information and Communications to contribute to protecting the community against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Installing and using Bluezone will help trace, isolate, and quarantine faster and more accurately. Recently, this application has also been updated with a medical declaration function and information about the risk of Covid-19 infection so that everyone can join hands to protect the community.
After three outbreaks, Hai Duong is now in the leading group nationwide with over 650,000 people having installed the app (accounting for more than 46.5% of smartphone users). However, before the third outbreak, many people deleted the app because they thought they would not use it. According to experts' calculations, Bluezone will be most effective if 60% of the adult population uses it, but Hai Duong has not yet reached this number. Many people have installed the app but do not regularly turn on Bluetooth.
To promote the effectiveness of the Bluezone application and join hands with the government in preventing the Covid-19 epidemic, people need to proactively install Bluezone and regularly turn on Bluetooth when leaving the house.
