Distinguish by brand logo and label

The logo of genuine clothing is printed clearly, while the logo of fake clothing is blurred and may change a few letters. Famous brands often have a uniform way of placing the logo on the product. You should learn about the logo of those fashion brands on the official website from the position of the logo, the lines to the color of the logo on the clothes to be able to distinguish when buying genuine clothing.

For example, with the Lacoste men's polo shirt, the crocodile image is delicately stitched and sewn, the crocodile's teeth are clearly visible; it has the ability to glow.

Branded products often have "side labels", "main labels"... attached to the waistband, shirt side, neck, or printed directly. The writing on branded logos is often very sophisticated and clear, each line of text and embroidery follows regulations and standards.

Distinguish by product material

Clothes from famous fashion brands are always made of high-quality materials, smooth surface, less sagging fabric and comfortable to wear, especially products made of silk, wool and genuine leather. Meanwhile, counterfeit products are often made of cheap materials, the fabric is often not smooth and rough.

For example, with Uniqlo down jackets, when you touch them and feel that they are soft, cool, evenly puffed, natural, when you hold them tightly in your hand, they easily shrink and quickly return to their original state when you release your hand, then it is definitely genuine because it is made from natural down. But if the jacket feels rough, not real, the puffiness is uneven, the jacket is quite heavy, when you hold it, it is not soft and spongy and does not hold your hand tightly, then it is fake.

Check the code

Symbols such as: Date code, serial number and model number are clearly shown on each genuine product. Counterfeit products also have the above characteristics but the codes and serial numbers are often blank, or do not follow the model number.

In addition to checking with the naked eye, you can easily check whether branded clothes are genuine or not by checking the code on the brand's homepage in 3 steps: Find the code on the paper tag; access the page and enter the code in the search bar; press enter and check the results.

If it is genuine, it will display product photos and related information. However, this method only applies to products manufactured within 1 year, because for products manufactured over 1 year, the code may be deleted from the system so it cannot be checked.
