The young tennis players of Hai Duong City have excellently brought home a total of 8 gold medals, helping the unit to be the top 2 groups of the delegation at the Long Hai Jelly Cup Primary, Secondary and High School Table Tennis Tournament.
On the afternoon of December 15, the Long Hai Jelly Cup Table Tennis Tournament for primary, secondary and high school students ended after 2 days of exciting competition at the Hai Duong Provincial Sports Gymnasium.
The Organizing Committee awarded 15 sets of medals and 3 first prizes for the entire delegation. Hai Duong City excellently won the first prize for the primary school group with 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and the secondary school group with 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 6 bronze medals.
In the high school block, Cam Giang district won the whole group with 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the participation of more than 200 tennis players who are students from primary, secondary and high schools in 10 districts, towns and cities.
The tournament is not only a healthy playground for students but also contributes to discovering talented students to nurture and provide for the provincial team to participate in tournaments in the future.
