According to the Hai Duong Provincial Statistics Office, the province's industrial production index in April increased by 15.1% over the same period last year. In addition to industries with high growth rates, some industries have slow growth rates and low output. The metal manufacturing industry only increased by 7.3%. This industry has a large proportion in the province's industrial production value, but its growth rate is lower than the average growth rate of the whole industry. Production of non-metallic mineral products decreased by 7% due to low market demand.
