Laos merges several ministries and sectors to streamline the apparatus.
The Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party has just issued Resolution No. 03 on streamlining the organizational structure and operating effectively.
Organizational structure and apparatus of the Government after streamlining
The organizational structure and apparatus of the Government after the streamlining includes 14 ministries and 3 ministerial-level agencies, a reduction of 4 ministries and 1 ministerial-level agency compared to the beginning of the term.
Tomorrow, the National Assembly will do personnel work to complete the Government apparatus after the reorganization.

The Government apparatus will be streamlined from 30 to 21 focal points, including 13 ministries, 4 ministerial-level agencies and 4 agencies under the Government.
