The Liaison Committee of General Officers of Hai Duong province presents gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

On December 3, the Liaison Committee of General Officers of Hai Duong province visited and presented 8 gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and war invalids in Hai Duong City. Each gift is worth 2.5 million VND.

On behalf of the liaison committee, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Rinh, former member of the Party Central Committee and former Deputy Minister of National Defense, expressed his deep gratitude to the heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and war invalids who have made great contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification. The Senior Lieutenant General hoped that the wounded soldiers, Heroes of the Armed Forces, and heroic Vietnamese Mothers would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition and always be a shining example for future generations to learn from and follow.

This December, the Liaison Committee of General Officers of Hai Duong province will visit, present and deliver nearly 100 gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and seriously wounded soldiers in districts, towns, and cities of Hai Duong.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

According to the provincial Military Command, the armed forces currently have over 110 general officers from Hai Duong.
