The Party Central Committee agreed to let comrade Vuong Dinh Hue resign from his positions.

1. Consider removing from office and retiring from work comrade Vuong Dinh Hue, Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 15th tenure, 2021 - 2026.

Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue is a key leader of the Party and State, who received basic training and grew up from the grassroots; and was assigned to hold many important leadership positions of the Party and State. However, according to the report of the Central Inspection Commission and the competent authorities, he violated the Regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, the Regulations on the exemplary responsibility of cadres and Party members, first of all, members of the Politburo, members of the Secretariat, members of the Party Central Committee, and is responsible as a leader according to the Party's regulations and the State's laws. Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue's violations and shortcomings have caused negative public opinion, affecting the prestige of the Party, the State and himself. Fully aware of his responsibility to the Party, the State and the people, he submitted a request to resign from his assigned positions and retire.

Pursuant to current regulations of the Party and State and considering the wishes of comrade Vuong Dinh Hue, the Party Central Committee agreed to let comrade Vuong Dinh Hue cease to hold the positions of Politburo member, member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 15th tenure, 2021-2026 term.

2. Decision to discipline comrade Le Viet Chu, former member of the 12th Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Le Viet Chu has degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; seriously violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated the Regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; was negative, accepted bribes, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and very negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and local government.

Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; implementing the Party's Regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party organizations and Party members, the Party Central Committee decided to discipline comrade Le Viet Chu by expelling him from the Party.

The Party Central Committee assigned the Politburo to direct relevant agencies to implement procedures according to regulations.
