The Hai Duong provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Board and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on February 12 morning co-organized a conference on the propaganda of the 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Con Son (February 15, 1965 – 2015) and the 2015 Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Pham Xuan Thang, Member of the Standing Board, Head of the Propaganda and Education Board of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the Board for Content and Propaganda of the 2015 Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival, clearly stated that this year's festival is associated with the important event of the 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Con Son. This is a major political and cultural event; thus, its significance and importance should be highlighted through propaganda and promotion for officials and people from all walks of life in the province and visitors from near and far to know.
Focus should be put on propagandizing Uncle Ho's feelings for and attention to Hai Duong, the feelings of Hai Duong officials and people for Uncle Ho, and practical activities of the Party organization and people of Hai Duong to realize Uncle's teachings.

The value of the typical tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Con Son – Kiep Bac special national relics and the life and career of Venerable Huyen Quang should be highlighted, the unique value of the Con Son – Kiep Bac traditional festival should be affirmed, etc.
Maximum means, forces, and forms should be mobilized for the propaganda with high intensity, frequency, continuity, and special importance attached to propaganda before the festival.
Provincial newspapers, broadcasting stations, magazines, newsletters, and electronic information sites should open specialized columns and pages to propagandize the festival and report activities marking the 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Con Son and some localities in Hai Duong, and coordinate with the Vietnam Television to televise live the anniversary and festival opening ceremony. Propaganda outside the province should be noted to attract visitors from near and far.
Earlier, the Management Unit of Con Son – Kiep Bac Relics had organized the placement of 18 Arhat statues in two corridors of Con Son pagoda. The statues, weighing 500 – 1,000kg each, are made of bronze with a total budget of VND3.6 billion donated by Buddhists.
