Ly - Tran cultural heritage on display

Delegates contemplate Ly - Tran cultural objects in Hai Duong
The exhibition consists of two parts.
The 1st part introduces relics and figures of Ly and Tran dynasties in Hai Duong.
The 2nd part displays antiquities and archaeological findings dating from the 11th – 14th centuries in Hai Duong and nearly 300 images, pottery, porcelain, objects made of wood, bronze, terracotta, etc. having been collected, studied, and preserved for years, thereby helping people from all walks of life, especially the younger generation, deeply understand and respect cultural heritage in general and Ly - Tran cultural heritage in Hai Duong in particular more...
Hai Duong has 220 relics built or used to worship figures related to Ly and Tran dynasties. Of which, there are 63 national and special national relics and relic complexes and 51 provincial relics.
Typical examples are Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site (Chi Linh), the relic complex of Cao temple - Kinh Chu cave - Nham Duong pagoda (Kinh Mon), the relic complex of Bia temple - Xua temple - Giam pagoda (Cam Giang), etc.
On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism awarded certificates to six individuals voluntarily donating objects to the exhibition.
The exhibition is to end on December 5.
This is a celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).
