Located in Viet Tri City, about 10km from Hung Temple, Hung Lo ancient village is a destination that attracts many domestic and international tourists. Having gone through many changes and ups and downs over thousands of years of history, this place still preserves almost intact the architecture of the ancient communal house, a national historical relic recognized since 1990. According to legend, this was the place where King Hung, the princess and his courtiers stopped to rest during an excursion. The King saw that this place was rich, with lush trees and sacred air rising from the ground, so he considered it a sacred place. Later, the villagers built a temple to worship it. When visiting Hung Lo communal house, visitors can not only listen to historical stories to better understand and be proud of their traditions and origins; admire the pinnacle of sculptural art values typical of the post-Le period, but also enjoy the products of Hung Lo rice noodle village, listen to ancient Xoan melodies that move people's hearts...
Adjacent to the ancient village of Hung Lo, the destination mentioned in the tour “To the UNESCO Heritage Site” is Lai Len Temple (Kim Duc Commune, Viet Tri City). Considered as “Vietnam’s first national theater”, Lai Len Temple was built by our ancestors in Phu Duc Village, on the land where it is said that King Hung taught the ancient Vietnamese people the art of Xoan singing. Therefore, the ancient Xoan melodies performed here also seem to be more deeply imbued with the sound and merit of building the country of our ancestors thousands of years ago.
Famous as the "city of three rivers", Viet Tri is the confluence of three major rivers: the Red River, the Da River and the Lo River. At the Hac junction in Bach Hac ward, Viet Tri city, there is a cluster of national historical and cultural relics of Tam Giang temple - Dai Bi pagoda. Tam Giang temple worships a legendary historical figure from the Hung King era, the god Tho Lenh. He is the village god - the god of Bach Hac river, who traveled the world to find precious medicine to cure the diseases of the people. When he died, he was able to help generals fight foreign invaders and protect the country. This place also preserves the remains of the Left Holy Grand Tutor Tran Nhat Duat cutting his hair and swearing before the god of Tam Giang temple, vowing to be loyal to the king, repay the country's debt, and defeat the invading Yuan-Mongol army.
