SJC gold bars increased in price in the first trading session of spring

At 3:00 p.m. on February 3, the listed price of SJC gold bars at the Hai Duong facilities of Bao Tin Manh Hai, PNJ, and Doji was VND 87.3 million/tael for buying and VND 89.3 million/tael for selling.

The above trading price remained unchanged compared to the beginning of the morning trading session of the same day, but increased by VND 500,000/tael in both buying and selling directions compared to the end of the trading session at the end of the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday (January 27).

The difference between the buying and selling price of each tael of SJC gold bar is maintained at 2 million VND.

For plain round gold rings (9999 gold rings), at the same time of 3:00 p.m. on February 3, Bao Tin Manh Hai listed the highest transaction price in the market, at 87.1 million VND/tael for buying, 89.25 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of nearly 800,000 VND/tael for buying, an increase of more than 400,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the end of January 27. The difference between the buying and selling prices of gold from this brand is 2.15 million VND/tael.

PNJ and Doji listed the price of plain round gold rings at VND87.2 million/tael for buying and VND88.9 million/tael for selling. The gold brands Hai Hong and Van Anh traded at VND87.1 million/tael for buying and VND88 million/tael for selling. These prices are equivalent to the closing price on January 27. The difference between buying and selling for these brands is from VND900,000 to VND1.8 million/tael.

On the first day of spring, gold shops recorded dozens of visitors coming to consult, but almost no buying and selling transactions occurred.
