ChatGPT application started to be brought to Android platform from 25.7, but only users in some regions can use it.
According to OpenAI, the ChatGPT app is currently available to users in the US, India, Bangladesh, and Brazil via the Google Play store. Other regions will be gradually updated in the coming weeks.
The rollout of ChatGPT to Google Play comes two months after the chatbot was launched on iOS in May, marking the first time the super AI has had a mobile app. When it was announced late last year, ChatGPT was only available as a web-based version.

Unlike the web version, the ChatGPT app has more features, such as synchronizing user history across devices, or allowing voice input. At the same time, users can ask the chatbot to answer questions, provide instructions or advice, get creative inspiration, create summaries or draft emails.
ChatGPT has been a global sensation since late November 2022 with over a million users after just one week and surpassed 100 million after two months according to Similarweb. This AI attracts 1.5 billion visits per month, opening up a global race for generative AI.
However, the ChatGPT fever is said to be fading quickly as the number of users stagnates. ChatGPT's traffic on computers and mobile devices in June decreased by 9.7% compared to May. This is also the first time this chart has decreased after half a year of continuous growth.
Despite the decline, ChatGPT remains the most popular AI tool. According to Similarweb expert David F. Carr, the decline of generative AI tools shows that the appeal of novelty in conversations is no longer there. "From now on, chatbots will have to prove their real value, instead of assuming that they will be accepted as a given," Carr assessed.
