Every November, wild sunflowers bloom at their most beautiful in the Central Highlands. On this occasion, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province will organize the Wild Sunflower - Chu Dang Ya Volcano Week in Ia Gri village, Chu Dang Ya commune from November 11 to 17.
Mr. Nguyen Van Noi - Chairman of the People's Committee of Chu Dang Ya commune, Chu Pah district - said that the locality has mobilized people (especially students and children) to preserve and care for wild sunflowers in the volcanic area, the Rong house area of Ia Gri village and along the roads leading to the flower week area.
Currently, Ia Gri villagers are rushing to repair houses, clean village roads and alleys, and open services for tourists. Gong artist Ro Cham Hjnh (Chu Dang Ya commune, Chu Pah district) practices gongs after work to perform during the Wild Sunflower Week. "I'm so excited! Performing gongs during festivals, witnessed by thousands of people, is an honor for the village and for me. I'm counting down the days until the festival" - artist Ro Cham Hjnh expressed.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Chu Pah district, affirmed that the image of wild sunflowers associated with Chu Dang Ya volcano was voted by the Vietnam Record Organization Vietking as the top 10 most attractive destinations in Gia Lai province. In particular, Chu Dang Ya volcano was voted by the British magazine as one of the 10 most beautiful craters in the world in 2018.
In Lam Dong province, the 9th Da Lat Flower Festival with the theme "Da Lat - City of Four Seasons of Flowers" will take place from November to December 31, 2022. In addition to exploiting famous tourist destinations, Lam Dong province will introduce new games and sightseeing activities for tourists such as: paragliding to see Xuan Huong Lake and the whole view of Da Lat city, bareback horse racing on the top of LangBiang mountain (Lac Duong), Tea - Silk Culture Week in Bao Loc tea land.

Regarding the bareback horse racing, Mr. Cil Poh, Vice Chairman of Lac Duong District People's Committee, said that the bareback horse racing is scheduled to be held on November 26 and 27, in response to the Da Lat Flower Festival.
At the meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 9th Da Lat Flower Festival, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Hiep directed departments and branches to grant permission to the Ho Chi Minh City Paragliding Sports Federation to offer paragliding activities to tourists during the 2 weekend days, from now until the end of the Flower Festival.
With the theme "Flying with thousands of flowers", paragliding is one of 12 programs responding to the 9th Da Lat Flower Festival and will be a unique tourism product, creating conditions for visitors to see Da Lat City from above.
"From this height, visitors will have the opportunity to admire the whole view of Da Lat city, enjoy the feeling of flying in the beautiful natural space, cool air, watch the city in the forest, watch the lake, pine forest and thousands of flowers. Allowing paragliding to serve tourism will enrich tourism products during the Flower Festival" - Mr. Hiep emphasized.
