Tu Ky High School celebrates its 60th anniversary and receives the Third Class Independence Medal

On the morning of November 18, Tu Ky High School (Hai Duong) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the 60th anniversary of the school's founding, and to receive the Third Class Independence Medal.

Attending the ceremony were comrades Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches of the province, Tu Ky district and many generations of cadres, teachers and students of the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province acknowledged, praised and congratulated the achievements of the school over the past 60 years, and sent his congratulations and deep gratitude to generations of cadres and teachers on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day. Overcoming difficulties and challenges, generations of cadres, teachers and students have built Tu Ky High School to gradually mature and grow, becoming a leading quality educational institution in the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the school to continue promoting its achievements, focusing on successfully implementing the set goals, tasks and education development strategies. In particular, it is necessary to continue effectively implementing the program and action plan on implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated November 4, 2013 of the 11th Party Central Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization.

The school continues to promote the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning"; effectively implement teaching and learning according to the 2018 general education program and new textbooks; strengthen management, innovate teaching methods in sync with innovation in exams, tests and assessments towards developing students' capacity; constantly improve the quality of comprehensive education, especially key education; along with that, strengthen education on ethics, lifestyle, life skills... to train generations of students with heart, talent, dynamism and integration.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition since 1963, when Tu Ky High School, now Tu Ky High School, was established.

Over 60 years of construction and development, generations of cadres, teachers, staff and students have strived to help Tu Ky High School affirm its position in education and training, becoming a bright spot in the education sector of Hai Duong province.

Every year, the results of good and excellent students are about 96%; the rate of 12th graders graduating from high school is often 100%; the rate of first-choice university admission is from 70-75%. The results of the provincial excellent student team are often ranked first. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the school continues to achieve level 3 education quality accreditation, reaching level 2 national standards.

Over the years, the school has continuously achieved the title of “Excellent Labor Collective”. The school has received many noble awards from the Party and the State such as: First, Second, Third Class Labor Medals, Emulation Flags, Certificates of Merit from the Government, Ministry of Education and Training, Provincial People’s Committee, etc.
