In recent cold days, the Stroke Department has received an average of over 10 cases of emergency treatment per day. About 30% of hospitalized patients have cerebral hemorrhage, most of whom are elderly due to cerebrovascular accidents, elderly people with underlying diseases related to cardiovascular and blood pressure. A few cases under 40 years old were hospitalized with cerebral hemorrhage due to cirrhosis, alcoholism, etc.
Doctors recommend that when patients experience unusual symptoms such as difficulty speaking, weakness, cognitive disorders, chest pain, fatigue, etc., they should quickly go to a medical facility capable of treating strokes for timely diagnosis and treatment to avoid dangerous complications.
Along with stroke patients, people with respiratory illnesses and children also visited emergency facilities.
