According to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), the launch took place from a location in or around the Sunan area in Pyongyang, between 11:40 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. on August 30 (local time).
Each missile flew about 360km before falling into the sea.
Previously, on August 24, North Korea launched a military reconnaissance satellite but failed due to "an error in the emergency detonation system."
The last time North Korea launched two SRBMs was on July 24.
