Labubu trend spreads to Hai Duong

The fever of playing Labubu (a type of art toy) broke out in Asia, spreading to Vietnam. In Hai Duong, the need to play has appeared among many young people, but owning a Labubu is quite expensive so the number of players is not much.

Labubu is a rabbit monster with long ears and sharp teeth, a character created in 2015 by Hong Kong (China) artist Kasing Lung. They come in many different sizes and colors. Recently, they have become a "fever" when international artists spread this trend. Many young people like to collect this type of toy because they look cute, have personality and are unique. Labubu can be used as handbags, decorative accessories...

According to the seller at the Candy shop on Thanh Nien Street (Hai Duong City), in the past week, the shop has sold about 10 Labubu. The most expensive one is worth 5.8 million VND, the one with the lowest selling price is nearly 300,000 VND.

However, some stores accept purchases from manufacturers in this way, but then open the box to sell to consumers. Buyers will be able to choose the exact product they like, so the price will be higher than when buying in a "hidden" way.

Up to now, Pop Mart (Labubu's manufacturer) has launched more than 10 Labubu doll collections, the most popular of which is "Labubu - Fun Macarons Monster". Because it is a genuine toy, the number of stores selling this type is not much, increasing the attractiveness of Labubu.

Because Labubu is quite expensive, from several hundred thousand to several million VND/bird, consumers in Hai Duong are still hesitant to spend a large amount of money to own this bird.

Small Labulu all have hooks on their heads, used as key chains or to hang on bags as decorations.

On many social networking sites in Hai Duong, there are some people who also sell Labubu. This is Labubu Mokoko, pink in color, has a fragrant smell so it is sought after by many people.

Some stores buy Labubu for display, like a decoration.

Ms. Thu Hue in Quang Trung Ward (Hai Duong City) is willing to spend nearly 1 million VND to own Labubu Soymilk. The animal is used as a decoration for handbags. Ms. Thu Hue likes Labubu because it looks funny and cute.

Ms. Hoang Trang (Hai Duong City) is willing to spend millions to buy 2 Labubu as toys for her children.

Labubu's "follow-up" accessories are also diverse, meeting consumer needs.
