Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations should actively and proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee on effective forms of launching and organizing awards and competitions suitable to local realities. Research and innovate propaganda methods and direct mobilization to grassroots and units to attract more units and individuals to participate. Leaders at all levels, sectors and units must really pay attention to science - technology activities and technical innovation, considering the Con Son Hai Duong Science and Technology Award and the Provincial Technical Innovation Competition as practical activities contributing to the implementation of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on science and technology development, quickly approaching the 4.0 industrial revolution, digital transformation, etc.

The 5th Con Son Science and Technology Award had 36 scientific works participating in the award consideration. The Organizing Committee selected 27 works to award 2 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 9 C prizes and 11 consolation prizes. The 2 A prizes were the works: "Research on the hypoglycemic effect of dried banana stem extract applied in supporting the treatment of type 2 diabetes" by the group of authors Nguyen Thi Dong and Tran Ba ​​Kien (Hai Duong Central College of Pharmacy); “Research on building soil and agrochemical maps for intensive farming, crop restructuring and sustainable management and use of agricultural land resources in Hai Duong province” by a group of authors Nguyen Van Phu (Provincial Party Committee for Mass Mobilization), Nguyen Anh Cuong and Nguyen Quang Hai (Provincial People's Committee), Ta Hong Minh, Pham Van Nhon and Tran Van Ha (Department of Natural Resources and Environment), Vu Thi Ha (Tu Ky District People's Committee), Le Thai Nghiep, Nguyen Phu Thuy, Nguyen Huu Dang, Nguyen Tuan Dung and Nguyen Xuan Nam (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development). The Con Son Science and Technology Award is the highest award in the field of science and technology in the province, awarded every 5 years.

Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in propaganda work, competition implementation, and awards.

After 2 years of implementation, the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest has received 54 technical solutions and initiatives. The jury has selected 35 excellent technical solutions and initiatives in the fields of information technology, electricity, electronics, telecommunications; mechanical automation, traffic, transportation; agriculture, forestry, fishery, natural resources and environment; medicine and pharmacy; education and training to award prizes. The solutions are all highly appreciated for their quality, relevance to real life, applicability and effectiveness. The organizing committee has awarded 5 second prizes, 12 third prizes and 18 consolation prizes to authors and groups of authors.

At the ceremony, 2 groups and 5 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in propaganda work, competition and award implementation. The Provincial Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to 3 individuals.
