Thanh Mien won the overall Badminton Tournament for Youth and Children of Hai Duong Province 2024

Over 3 days of competition, more than 300 athletes from 12 delegations from districts, towns, cities and 3 clubs: Provincial Children's House; Sports Gymnasium; Youth Support Center, Workers and Young Laborers (Provincial Youth Union) competed in a total of 368 matches.

According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament was held in accordance with the regulations and rules of the competition and had good professional quality. Players from units and localities with strong badminton movements brought to the tournament strong, skillful and technical playing style. The referees ran the tournament impartially, objectively and in accordance with the regulations.

With 4 gold medals, the Thanh Mien district badminton team won the overall flag. The Provincial Children's House was second overall, with 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. The Youth, Workers and Young Labor Support Center (Provincial Youth Union) and Binh Giang district ranked third overall.

In this year's tournament, athletes are divided into 3 age groups: 11 years old and under (group 1); 12-13 years old (group 2) and 14-15 years old (group 3). Age group 1 competes in men's singles and women's singles; age groups 2 and 3 compete in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. Each athlete registers to compete in no more than 2 events and must be in the same age group. Badminton athletes on rotation from the Provincial Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center, and Athlete Training Centers of provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide are not allowed to participate in the competition.
