Through inspection and examination, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hai Duong has sanctioned and proposed administrative sanctions against 48 organizations and individuals for more than 1.4 billion VND.
According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, from the beginning of 2023 to now, the department has inspected and examined 35 units; coordinated inspections and handled unexpected incidents of more than 600 units and individuals and handled 25 feedbacks via the hotline.
Through inspection and examination, 48 organizations and individuals were fined and recommended for administrative violations, with a total fine of more than 1.4 billion VND. Of which, 32 units were fined for environmental violations with a total fine of more than 1 billion VND, 13 units were fined for land violations with a fine of 318 million VND, and the rest were handled for violations of minerals, surveying and mapping. The Department also recommended the recovery of more than 1.8 billion VND in illegal profits.
