Child star Chu Diep Anh from "Love the sunny days": I want to play a villain role

Chu Diep Anh's most recent television role is Nhu Hoa (Van Trang as a child) in Thuong ngay nang ve, a series currently airing on VTV3. The child actor has brought many viewers to tears with her natural, emotional acting. Diep Anh said she loves this character because she gets to try her hand at portraying a poor child with an unfortunate fate. The "heavy" psychological scenes also bring many interesting challenges to the child star.

Chu Diep Anh also made a good impression when taking on the main role of Maika in Maika - The girl from another planet, the movie currently in theaters. Diep Anh's character is an alien, appearing with purple hair and the ability to fly and control objects remotely.

Sharing with VTC News about the role of Maika, Chu Diep Anh could not hide her excitement when playing a different type of role on screen for the first time, which is also the first leading role in her acting career. This responsibility did not make Diep Anh feel pressured; on the contrary, she was happier to go to film and meet new friends.

Although she often goes to film, Diep Anh still tries not to neglect her studies at school. She often brings her books to the studio, and whenever she has free time, she asks her friends to send her homework so she can do it and review it in her textbooks. "I think that doing this will help me study well and experience many interesting things when making films," Diep Anh said.

Possessing a harmonious face with big, round, cute eyes and a pretty smile, Chu Diep Anh is often expected by the audience to participate in beauty contests in the future. However, she is aiming for a professional acting career: "Many people tell me to participate in beauty pageants in the future, but I don't think I will participate in beauty contests because I just want to be an actress."

In the near future, Chu Diep Anh wants to try her hand at a villain role because this is a type of role that she has never played before. When asked if she was worried about the audience's reaction to a villain role, Diep Anh frankly expressed: "It's just a role. If the audience hates that role, it means that I have played the role well and have had a little success. So I'm not afraid, on the contrary, I feel very happy."

As a child model, in addition to her filmmaking career, Diep Anh often appears in photo shoots, advertising videos or performs in some fashion shows. Although she became famous at an early age, for Diep Anh, this does not affect her daily life. The child star confided: "I still play with my friends normally and do not keep my distance from anyone. I have never encountered a situation where my friends tease me just because I am well-known."

According to Ms. Nhung - Diep Anh's mother, the child star has always been a well-behaved, friendly and sociable girl in the eyes of teachers and classmates. She affirmed that letting Diep Anh participate in showbiz from a young age did not make her lose her innocent and carefree childhood, because making movies is something she has always loved. Ms. Nhung is the one who closely follows, manages all schedules and saves her daughter's salary.

Diep Anh confided that she has no plans on how to use the money she earns: "I'm still young so I don't need money yet. Whenever I want to buy something, I'll ask my mom."
