Hai Duong Department of Natural Resources and Environment has requested Toan Cau Environmental Development Investment Joint Stock Company to review the works, equipment, operating procedures of the exhaust gas treatment system and propose solutions to immediately overcome the limitations, ensuring stable operation of the exhaust gas treatment facility. Continue to hire a unit with sufficient capacity to evaluate the treatment efficiency of waste treatment facilities to ensure that the post-treatment emissions meet the permitted environmental standards. The company must have a plan to collect and treat exhaust gas sources arising from the operation of the incinerator to ensure that they are treated to meet the permitted environmental standards before discharging during the time of implementing the correction of existing problems in the exhaust gas treatment system. The company is required to send a report on the review results, remedial solutions that meet the technical requirements according to the standards and the waste monitoring plan to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment before September 29, 2023 for monitoring, supervision and sampling during the implementation process.
Previously, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment inspected and supervised the trial operation of the waste treatment facility of the Toan Cau Craft Village Waste Treatment Plant in Hoang Dieu Commune (Gia Loc) of Toan Cau Environmental Development Investment Joint Stock Company. The results showed that the company had put the gas treatment facility generated from the Envic incinerator of 0.5 tons/hour (maximum gas discharge of 15,000 m3/hour) into trial operation and hired the Environmental Monitoring and Analysis Center to take samples to evaluate the efficiency of the gas treatment system according to regulations. The monitoring results of 3 samples of gas after treatment during the trial operation on July 24, 25, and 26, 2023 all met the permitted environmental standards. However, the results of the emission monitoring verification after the treatment system conducted by Fed Group Joint Stock Company had 2 monitoring parameters exceeding the standards.
