Quynh Kool is a single mother, how does the audience react?

The main character in the film is Hanh (Quynh Kool) who has a difficult life, because she reluctantly became a single mother and had no preparation. Hanh's daughter is Happi (An Nhien) - a smart and argumentative girl. The journey of caring for, raising and growing up with Happi has given Hanh many unforgettable experiences. Sharing about this role, Quynh Kool admitted that maybe people who have long known her in the type of roles of personality, capricious or luxurious, graceful young lady will be surprised when coming to this movie she becomes a single mother.

"I feel honored that in 2022 I can transform into two different roles (Gara Hanh Phuc; Don't Make Mom Angry). And these two roles bring completely different colors to the audience. If Son Ca in "Gara Hanh Phuc" is a strong girl, a bit masculine, then in the role of Hanh, she is a single mother who is more gentle, more tender but also very determined and has personality. This is also the first film on television that I have played the role of a mother.

The role of Hanh in Single Mother was my dream in high school. In the past, I loved reading romance novels, being a single mother, single at the age of 18. And when I became an actress and got to play the role of a mother, I also watched a lot of movies about mother-child love to see how mother-child love feels," the 9X actress revealed.

Regarding child actress An Nhien, although only 5 years old, she already owns a "fortune" of films such as: Are you a man?, Love the sunny days, Battle of wits... That's why when she entered the film, she was quite confident in completing her role. She is still learning to spell, but when participating in the film, An Nhien had to learn very long lines. Working with the film crew is hard, but she is always very innocent, happy, and full of energy.

Interacting with a child actor in a long-term role, Quynh Kool said that filming with children is much more difficult than with adult actors and the filming schedule also has to prioritize the children so that they can get in sync with the film crew.

"Happi is a smart and agile baby, so he caught up with the film crew very quickly. That's why when getting to know each other and filming together, the mother and child didn't encounter any difficulties. Especially with such a cute baby, I can't be upset or angry," Quynh Kool said.

"In the scenes where I scold Happi, I would ask Happi's mother: "Sister, every time you scold your child, what do you say?" I also learned from other mothers about how to scold their children and how to talk to them," Quynh Kool added.
