As an important part of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex, which is being proposed for UNESCO recognition as a world heritage site, the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic (Chi Linh, Hai Duong) possesses all outstanding values.
ICOMOS recommends early completion of dossier of Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son and Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex
ICOMOS will send information as soon as possible so that Vietnam can proactively research and complete the dossier of the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex before February 28, 2025.

In the effort and journey to bring the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex to the title of World Heritage, the provinces of Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, and Hai Duong have had development orientations with many breakthroughs and innovations, aiming to preserve and promote the value of the monuments, associated with tourism development.
Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex - Part 1: International heritage
After many years of preparation, in early 2024, the nomination dossier for the “Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Complex of Monuments and Landscapes” was submitted to UNESCO for recognition as a World Heritage Site. The three provinces with nominated heritage sites, including Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, and Hai Duong, are making efforts to complete the criteria as required by UNESCO.
Interprovincial heritage of international stature
After more than 2 years of construction, on January 30, 2024, the official nomination dossier and components of the nomination dossier for the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Scenic Landscape Complex in the 3 provinces of Bac Giang, Quang Ninh, and Hai Duong were sent to the World Heritage Center.
The traditional festival of Nham Duong pagoda is held on a large scale.
After several years of being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, this year's traditional festival of Nham Duong Pagoda (Kinh Mon, Hai Duong) will be held at the town level for 3 days on April 13, 14 and 15.
